Launch LOWD as an award-winning Portland cannabis brand that makes the “intersection of urban culture & epic nature” visible in every touchpoint, driving a successful market entry while championing legacy growers in a crowded recreational space.
Approach
A bold, hyper-saturated identity uses geometric typography, strain storytelling, and nature-meets-city imagery to frame LOWD as the grower’s grower—crafting fine cannabis flowers and bringing them to market in a safe, sustainable, and culturally authentic way.

Positioning centers on LOWD as a craft flower authority from the Pacific Northwest, blending phenotype-obsessed cultivation with a mission to keep cannabis culture alive, inclusive, and driven by legacy growers.

Design

The identity features a blocky, industrial wordmark with a "screen blue" O, surrounded by electric cobalt and acid green to create a modular logo system that flexes across jars, trucks, and street posters.

Packaging Design

Vertical label systems and bold strain typography turn each jar and pre-roll tube into a quick-scan scorecard, making the nuance of each chemotype feel both scientific and street-level.

The identity scales across a modular ecosystem—from a type-driven web interface and "Pull Up" delivery trucks to social grids—ensuring the brand’s "urban meets nature" story remains consistent from city streets to dispensary shelves.
